The Union Special 2200M18 is a battery operated sewing machine available to sew turf fields, geosynthetic applicatoins, and bag closing applications. The unit is made on the USA on the Union Special’s tried & true 2200 mainframe. Powered by an 18 Volt battery, this cordless sewing machine is equipped with a battery charger and two cones of thread ( your choice of turf thread or nylon thread for geo/bag closing). 

The Union Special 2200M18 eliminates annoying cords/electric hookups and provides a reliable portable sewing machine option. If you’ve employed the electric Union Special 2200 series in the past, this battery operated sewing machine operates the same, threads the same, and has the same maintenance. As a result, there is no learning curve or downtime for your crews. The Union Special 2200M18 can be employed for full sports field sewing, turf field repairs, bag closing sewing machine, sew landfills, tarps, covers, awnings, all geosynthetic applications, etc.
