NC Portable Carpet Binders:
The NC Single Puller (PBS) portable carpet binder has been manufactured since the mid-1970’s. This unit is driven by 1 clutch puller and bottom feeding mechanism. This NC Carpet Binder is able to attach carpet binding tapes ranging size from ¾” – 3”. In addition, it can also attach rug fringe, serge tape, and now wide tape borders. Merely request that your machine be fitted with required attachment, and your NC Carpet Binder can do it all. The PBS Carpet Binders provide installers with the most affordable option to bind carpet on the jobsite.
The NC Double Puller (PBT) portable carpet binder was the 1st double puller introduced to the industry in the late 1970’s. The double puller provided two times the pulling power as it’s equipped with a 2nd independently clutch driven puller. The extra pulling power comes in handy when you’re binding difficult backed carpets and thick piled carpets. It makes life easier on the carpet binding installer and prolongs the life of the carpet binders. The PBT Carpet Binders are able to attach carpet binding tapes ranging size from ¾” – 3”. In addition, they can also attach rug fringe, serge tape, and now wide tape borders. Merely request that your PBT be fitted with the specific attachment, and the carpet binders can do it all.
The NC Millennium 2009 is the industry’s 1st bobbin-less carpet binder. Over 1250 NC2000/Millennium series units have been sold worldwide since 2001. Now on our 4th series, the Mil2009 has increased pulling power, is quieter, and requires even less maintenance. These carpet binders are three times faster than bobbin type portable carpet binding machines. In addition, they require less maintenance are able to binding the industry’s heaviest rugs. This carpet binder provides the most pulling power of any portable carpet binding machine that NC has ever produced. It’s driven by 3 clutch driven pullers + a bottom feeder. Our 4x4 technology makes the Mil2009 carpet binders the most capable portable carpet binder produced anywhere.
The PBTT portable wide border tape machines are built from our PBT Carpet Binder mainframe. The PBTT is able to apply wide borders to the perimeter of the carpet border. Its sews down the tape, and then you would fold over and glue. A blindstitch is generated and is often required by both designers & carpet manufacturers. These wide border carpet binding tapes have become prevalent in our industry.
The NC206 Portable Nosing Machine was introduced in 2005. This unit applies rubber nosing to the edge of any entrance mat, safety or mat, or carpet border. These units have been customized as carpet binders, upholstery machines, and now nosing sewing machines.
